take apart your door panel, it probably fell off the regulator.

^What he said, usually its the pin/bolt in the middle of the regulator arm that falls out to cause the window to drop like that.

You definitely need a new one, but you should be able to wedge something in the regulator to hold the glass up until you can get a new one.

You can probably get a regulator used one at a junkyard pretty cheap or go here, http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com/auto/j...y5=DOOR+WINDOWS

If your lucky you only need a regulator, if it sounded like cracking glass, it probably was because its a pretty distinct sound. You should pull your door panel off to see whats broken, its pretty easy to take off.

all u need is a screw driver and pop off the tabs, just make sure not to break anything. i would just get the driver up and roll up the regulator so at least your window will be closed for tonight. not sure what can be broken/bent at the time but take pics when you take off your panel.
