If you want something a little different, go to Crustaceans, a French/Vietnamese restaurant at California and Polk. The most incredible Dungenesse Crab and Garlic Noodles you will EVER try, great martini's and very attentive service. They have 2 kitchens, the regular one, which is used by people they hire who make their regular dishes, and the "secret" one, which allows ONLY family members (The An Family) and ONLY makes the crab and the noodles. Amazing stuff. Makes for a good story, too. Appetizers are decent, desserts are incredible. Should run less than $200 for two.

Gabiano's - nice view if it's a clear night

Carnelian Room- incredible view if it's a clear night (more pricey)

The Waterfront Cafe - kinda a cool place on the water, might be a bit chilly to sit outside
if yer up for a drive, I've heard that Moss Beach Distillery in Portola Valley is pretty nice

SF Asia - ok, not necessarily romantic, but from what I've heard, it'll be a Valentines to remember

orrrrrrr..... you could get Kelvin to organize that weeks meet to be a dinner on valentines day and hang out with the rest of the Bay Area S2k owners

I vote for Farallon, great service and food..

if you like souffles, try Cafe Jacqueline... a really small romantic place... good luck getting the reservation though....
