I don't think he's implying that it's a 2 year education.. The friend is probably transferring in and he could take classes that double dip at USF which cuts out some of the class requirements so he could finish like a quarter or 2 earlier than if he chose Berkeley.

people also forget that the reason for choosing a school also has to do with the quality of the alumni.

Berkeley and USF are in two different leagues. One has Nobel laureates and the other well Jesuits?

btw, I did not attend Berkeley. Quite frankly Berkeley alumni annoy me.

I'm not one for going to a school just because it has a name. it's going to matter what you do during college and things like internships that help the most
