Does anyone know if a SA open face helmet is acceptable at Thunderhill for the S2K?

Thanks.

I am thinking about open face cuz it is more comfortable, plus my face is already very messed up, so extra protection won't be needed...

I emailed T-Hill. Shannon replied and said "It "should" be ok, if not we have rentals."

open faced is ok, i wore one last time when i rode with dave, but i advise you to wear glasses or something, cuz you'll get hella debris in your eyes. you have to keep your windows rolled down. have fun!

Carlson;

So you are finally going to take your S to the track? Great!
You won't regret it. Make sure that your helmet is rated DOT and SNELL 95 (at least). I picked-up a brand new Bieffe GPR on ebay for $100.

Jalbrah:

Yeah, thats what the S2K was designed for, right?
Thinking about it, I think I'm gonna go with a closed face helmet.
I wont be able to get it online, cuz I need to try it on.... I dont know my size......
You can pay to have pics taken at T-Hill? Right?

Thanks.

Carlson,

Try to go to a nearby store, try a helmet, and buy it online. You will get it at substantial savings.
Depending on who organized the event, there should be a photographer there. The cost is usually around $20 for about 20 great quality pictures. Check with the event organizer.
Good luck and keep us posted !
