Default Hello qeustion from an stl member

hey i currently live in saint louis and am thinking of moving back to cali but am a little hesitant because i have a modded s2k and iam originally from cali and i know how much the laws suck but my real question is there any track events for just an everyday guy such as myself to take there car too? Here in the stl you dont need to have a roll bar and such to play around in most events.

There's plenty of events to go to year-round.

The two most popular HPDE groups around here (NASA and Speedventures) do not require any aftermarket roll bars for the S2000. With 3 tracks in Norcal and several more in Socal, you can go to the track every weekend if you want.

Greetings. I moved to the Bay Area in mid May after ~11 years in StL and haven't looked back. I don't have anything add wrt your questions, but it seems like no matter what you want to do, there are a ton of people here with similar interests. The main thing you have to prepare yourself for is ridiculous housing prices, but if you can deal with that, then you should be golden. Anyway, def. come out to some of the meets if you end up in the area.

cops everywhere, and I don't think the $50 lawyer tricks work out here.
