Default Hello from the 925 area

Hello, I posted an introduction in the main area but I'd imagine most of the Bay Area owners hang out in here so I thought I'd say hi. My name is Elliot, I'm 20 and a college student. I do not currently own an s2000 but I will most likely be in the market to buy one in the next 6 months to a year if everything goes somewhat according to plan. I'm currently selling my Porsche 944 and my daily driver Ford is reaching the end of it's life which is the reason I'll be in the market for an s2000 fairly soon. I am studying Automotive Repair and Technology at my college so I am not new to the world of cars, just to the world of s2000's. I know the basics of these cars but I'm hoping no one will mind me hanging around and asking a few questions so I can determine the year, color, etc s2000 I want when the time comes to buy one. I'd be interested in meeting a few Bay Area owners in the East Bay to say hello, and if anyone is willing I would like a tour of an s2000 from an owner (I have no intention of driving your car, don't worry) so I can learn some things about the car by physically seeing what you're pointing out. The only true hands on experience I have with the cars was looking and breifly test driving a used Spa Yellow 2005 model at the local dealership about a two years ago. So again, hello to everyone, I hope to meet some nice people, and thank you in advance to those who don't mind me poking my head around the forums a bit even though I'm not an owner of an s2000 yet.

There's an answer to pretty much any question you can think of and possibly more on S2Ki.

I would think so considering all of the great things I've heard about this website. I'm very impressed so far.

harro there! just keep on firing on those questions. color is all good but one piece of advice is that buy a mechanically sound one regardless of the color. to tell you what it's pretty damn expensive (specially for us "college students") to maintain one.

good luck and may the force be with you.
