I was just wondering if the price of fuel has changed the way you drive.

Do you drive less?
Limit your joy rides?
Changed to more efficient car?
Avoid V-tec
Slow your highway speed?

I hear a lot of people that say that the price of fuel is just a fact of life and it

Haven't changed a thing. I only fill up twice a month, I don't mind paying $2-3 more per tank.

for everyone that fills up about 2 times a week .... yes it has effected my wallet (practically burned a hole through it) BUT ... Hasn't really changed my driving style ... I still go on drives every so often, but i'm more worried about my tires at this point than wasting gas

damnit i wish i had a daily

Sold my SUV and got an Outback. Now saving $200 extra a month on gas. In anticipation of gas prices going up, the other DD is a Civic instead of a bling car.

i now travel at an average of 75 miles per hour instead of 80. i found that i get 25-26 mpg doing that instead of going 60-65 or 80-85... weird eh? but yes, gas prices has affected my life. its caused me to be more miserable and complain and bitch more.

LOL .. I hear alot of people in my area (Boonies) Hollister complain too. For the longest time I would see folks in their Escalades and Suburbans flying past me on the freeway (me in my 4cyl 28mpg toyota pu).

However recently I've noticed more people going slower ie 65mph, I don't know if its fact or I'm just imagining things?
