I've also talked to Kodokan about what it would take to get lock bolts made(like the seat locks) but this may not be a realistic option because of the demand volume. At very least you would expect lock bolts to add $30 to the price of the bracket. My thought with bolts would be to pick up a set of torx bolts since they should be readily available and less likely for a thief to have the proper tool. The McGaurd lock bolts would be the ideal option but may add more cost than people want. Still I'll price and see if it's possible.
I'll lurk around McMaster-Carr and Grainger tonight and see if I can scrounge up some different types of antitheft bolts. They have all different kinds of antitheft bolts... one ways, torx, antitheft allens, two-hole, aircraft, different materials, etc.... but the hard part will be to find metric ones. I am sure the bolts are metric (anybody know size and length by any chance?) right?

C'mon moderators... an email or PM saying you're removing the picture would be nice.

You can't use any of those screws anyways they are all English. And just because I show a picture doesn't mean that we're going to use those bolt types.

Right now this is an informative thread if I am not mistaken.

We should really petition Honda to make the hardtop latches with locks built in.
