Hard top with soft top cover?

yeah that seems kind of redundant... to put the soft top up while you have the hard top on. Obviously, if you take the hard top off and leave it at home, you'll be able to use the soft top again...

Actually the reason I asked is because when I talked to the guy @ hardtopguy.com. He told me to put the soft top cover on before I install the hardtop. I have no doubt at that time but after I get back the car I don't see how I can put back the tonneau cover. Maybe I misunderstood his word but anyway, I just put back the tonneau cover in the storage

I just put a piece of black felt over the soft top and tuck it in before installing the hardtop. It is worth it because the hardtop window is so big it lets a lot of light in to fade the soft top. My felt is fading pretty quick.
