Be careful on Mt. Hamilton. For one, there were lots of potholes and loose gravel on the road; for two, the UC campus police who patrol the road are known to give tickets for front-plate violations.

ok, name a place to meet and I will go. Not too early since this is supposed to ba a hookey day eh?

Lots of CHP on 9 today. Hopefully we will not run into too many tomorrow, though I plan to take it easy so i will gladly take up the rear if you all plan to go all out.

my vote is for Hwy 1. dont have many coastal areas to see water from where i have been. Would be nice to have a good drive up and down the coast.

What section of Hwy 1? My favorite section is Carmel to San Simeon as there a couple more corners...

RWD_RCKT and I did this on the way to LA last year. He made me do it.

damn, that'd be a long hookey day drive. need to be home for dinner with wife...she'd kill me if I did not make Friday night dinner.
