Group Drive, anyone?
Do you people miss driving around with 20+ S2000s? I think it is time now we continue our tradition! Let's cruise down the road together and get all the envy looks!
Finally, things start to turn around for me. First, I got involved in a very cool research project with a renowned computer scientist. (may or may not get paid but it doesn't matter) Then this I got a contingent job offer. I should know within three weeks whether I can get the job. But it seems to me it is at least 80% sure.
I would like to do it this next weekend, ie either April 27th (Sat) or 28th (Sun). If they are not good for people, we can try 5/4 or 5/5.
Here are some route suggestions arranged in terms of increasing difficulties:
1) Pacific Coast Drive - start at Saratoga, go down 17 and then go up 1 until Cliff House
2) South Bay Skyline Drive - start at Saratoga, go up 9 and then turn right to Skyline, ends at 92
3) East Bay Skyline Drive - start at the Skyline Blvd in San Leandro and then drive up to Berkeley
4) East Bay Backroads Drive - the one that was cancelled several times in March
5) Mt Tam Drive - start at Mill Valley, go thru Muir Woods then Stinson Beach and finally arrive at Tony's Seafood
6) Other suggestions?

Oops.. I forget I need to attend the Ballroom Dance Competition at Stanford on the 27th... So if we need to do it on April 27th, I have to pick the South Bay Skyline then... While the drive may be short (1 hour I think), it is pretty wide and well-paved, so it should be quite fun.
Does anyone know any good restaurant in Belmont, San Carlos or even Redwood City? We need a lunch place that has a parking lot for many cars.
