Ground Control on S2K, need update on them
Ground Control, anybody? any problems? i heard if you slam them really low for a long period of time your shock would leak, is that correct? and how much did you pay? Thank You in advance

I had the first street set they made for the S2000 you cant drop it very low without the handling going out the window. But you can drop it to within a 1 or 2 finger gap and have really nice handling! The spring rates they gave me were 340 front 380 rear which gave it a smooth but much stiffer ride. The only reason I sold them was I got a good deal on a set of Zeal coilovers

Well with the Zeal you can adjust the stiffness of the shocks so I can have a smoother stock ride on the street and a stiff ride on the track. I do wish they were a little stiffer still though.

On the Teins to adjust the height of the car you adjust the spring perch down, but on the Buddy Clubs or Zeals or a couple others you adjust the height of the car by adjusting the entire shock assembly including the spring lower. If you look at pictures (im to lazy an tired right now to post) you will see that the bottom of the buddyclubs and Zeals are threaded allowing you to adjust them down without changing the spring travel or spring rate. So essentially you can go lower without loosing suspension travel. In other words you can dump the sh!t out of your car without getting a bad ride. If you look for old pics of my car in the white owners thread you can see that my car was VERY LOW before, I only raised it because I got a Amuse style lip.
