Just wanted to give a shout to the few guys that I met in the Bay during my first month in California.

I ended up landing a job in LA, now I'm living in Hollywood. I sure do miss the roads in the SC mountains! To those who I met and drove with, thanks for showing me the roads and introducing me to some good people!


My girl had a good time in Malibu, though!

Sad to see you go so soon! Hope everything works out well in SoCal. May have to make the trip down to SoCal sometime to start documenting some of those canyons.

new here, but lived in the LA area for several years and really miss it. congrats on the new job & move. SoCal, esp LA is a very polarizing place, but it really has a lot to offer, esp for car enthusiasts. looks like you're already exploring PCH & likely, have already done Mulholland. Check out Angeles Crest Highway in the upper Glendale area & mountain region. There are also some nice roads in the Orange County Canyons.

Thanks everyone! I was really bummed to have to leave the Bay after meeting you guys, but I will take a trip up there sometime, and give you guys a shout before I do so we can meetup for a drive and BBQ maybe.

I actually live 2 blocks off of Mulholland! I take it to the freeway when I need to, its great. Went on it really early Sunday morning, and came across a photoshoot of the new S Class Mercedes. It was really cool, had a europlate on it and was a cool matte silver.

btw, i think i saw you on Highway 1, near Pacifica like a month ago. you were parked on a turnout taking pics w/your tripod. either that, or you have a RYP AP1 twin w/gold RPF-1s and a rollbar.

Hah, I'd be willing to bet it was me. Pretty much all I did when I was up in the Bay was drive around and take pictures
