I have the Pioneer F-900BT, seems to work decently except sometimes it gives whack ass directions...=P.

Tomtom 130s. Good 3.5 screen, text to speech, and inexpensive.

I like the iphone too but it's about useless if you're in a area with no service. Which seems to be just about everywhere. I lost connection by the airport in San Jose and near Shoreline in Mtn. View.

Cellphone based nav units are nice, from a portability aspect, but they all require a constant connection to the cell network to download new map data.

I got a nextar, 80 bucks at Kmart a couple weeks back heh. I had this unit for probably 2 years and it still has only failed me once.... new developments FTL!!!!

False, both my tilt and my iPhone have had third party maps on the phone and don't need to download map data..
