This coming from CHP out of Santa Clara and LA (both good friends of mine)

"There are no ticket quotas... only performance reviews."
Yes, this is very true. Imagine the performance review.
"So officer smith, for the month of Febuary you only wrote 1 ticket?!"

Dad's a sargent and the uncle is with santa clara sheriffs dept. I get crap from the both of them when they find out about one of my speeding ticket.

My uncle said he just finished a class that teachs officers what is california "street legal" so they can pass out more tickets.

Sorry to hear wantone, you can always take traffic school with me this coming saturday

Were you pulled over by CHP? A 50mph zone doesn't seem like it would be normally patrolled by CHP.

Here's a hint... never pass your 11-99 card to a non CHP. I'm y'all know that, but the city cops don't get shit from it and know it's a get out of jail free card. It's usually taken as insulting.

The VC 41602 has gotten me a warning before, but it's also gotten me a ticket. It's all about attitude. The first time I tried it, I asked and the officer said that he had to fill his quota. I asked him if he wanted to defend that in court, since VC 41602 states that he cannot. He gave me a warning. The second time I tried it, I said it more like the ticket assasin mentioned (sounded like a smart ass) and he said, "I'm not on a quota, but you are getting a ticket."

:/

It's all about attitude.

my parents have the 11-99 cards and plate but still got in trouble from CHP. i dont think its a get out of jail free card..it just makes them more lenient maybe sometimes let you off.
