Supplemental claim for my out of pocket replacement items went smoothly.

1. "Receipt - $24.12 - Modifry Tow Hook Camera Mount"
- This is a camera mount that threads into the tow hook on the front of my
car.
- A replacement needed to be ordered, as this item is not repairable.

2. "Receipt - $33.64 - GoPro Camera Case"
- This is an airtight waterproof hard-plastic shell case for the camera
that was mounted to the tow hook mount on the front of my car.
- Somehow my camera itself was ok after the collision, even though it went
entirely through the rear bumper of the car in front of me.
- Unfortunately, the camera case was badly scratched and needed
replacement, as it is not repairable.
- I found a replacement case on amazon and this is the receipt.

3. "Receipt - $34.95 - Ricks Plate Holder"
- This is a "special" front licence plate holding bracket that I had on the
front of my car which was damaged as a result of the accident.
- The body shop that did the initial estimate did quote for a replacement
bracket, but not for the correct one. Their price was $29.98, thus there is
a $4.97 difference.

4. "Receipt - $49.00 - DMV Personalized Plate"
- Body of my personalized license plates were badly damaged as a result of
the crash.
- New replacement plates needed to be ordered, and it seemed to be a more
arduous process to order identical replacements, so a new lettering was
ordered, but the price is identical to an exact replacement.

5. "Receipt - $55.13 - CR trunk stiffeners"
- My car has a aftermarket spoiler mounted on the trunk. The spoiler itself
was not damaged, but the trunk was.
- The parts listed as "CR trunk stiffeners" are original honda parts that
cannot be swapped onto the replacement trunk because they are a "one use
only" type of part (they are drilled into my old trunk, which is damaged
and will be replaced.
- These parts are absolutely vital to the integrity of the trunk when the
spoiler is mounted, and re a required purchase to make the car the same was
it was prior to the crash.

6. "Receipt - $80.00 - Trunk Vinyl"
- This invoice is one that I typed myself. This part/labor cost is
associated with a custom black carbon-fiber print vinyl wrap that was
installed onto my old trunk. The work was done by a professional freelance
"vinyl guy" who did this work on my car several months ago. I plan to
re-wrap my trunk in the same way, and this is a fair market value (the
exact cost I paid last time" for the work to be done on the new trunk.

7. "Receipt - Dynamat"
- I had a sound deadening material custom installed on the trunk lid that
was damaged by the accident. This trunk lid will be thrown out, as it is
not repairable, and unfortunately this sound deadening material is a "one
use only" and I needed to purchase replacement materials for the new trunk.
This receipt corresponds to MORE than the material
- Because about 30% of this invoice would account for the replacement
material, I believe 30% of this invoice would correspond to the material
needing replacement as a result of the crash.

My best estimate of these invoices is as follows:

24.12 = tow hook camera mount
33.64 = camera case
4.97 = cost difference of license plate bracket
49.00 = license plate
55.13 = Cr trunk stiffeners
80.00 = trunk vinyl
30.89 = 92.68/3 (30% of the materials for sound deadening)

Total fair sum = $277.75
Farmers just direct deposited this exact amount based on the email I sent copied above.

I'm posting this mostly as FYI for people curious about replacement of aftermarket parts in a not-at-fault insurance claim.

Very nice detailed invoice. I should remember to sort out all the expense for my mods I did in case this happens to me. Nice work!

Yes I recommend some snazzy spreadsheet for maintenance and mods. It makes it easy to pull the numbers. All those listed above are mostly things I've had to buy since the accident.

My buddy Paul (L8Apex01) dropped off the haul from HondaPartsCheap (South Bay Honda) today!

Beautiful CR lip:

And the main haul:
- OEM AP2 CR Front bumper (comes with the CR lip holes pre-drilled)
- OEM AP2 CR Front lip factory painted Rio Yellow Pearl
- OEM AP2 Rear bumper
- OEM AP2 Front grill
- OEM Widnshield moulding
- HardtopGuy's CR lip mounting kit (a huge bundle of all the bits and pieces necessary)
- OEM AP2 CR Trunk stiffening kit

I'm all scheduled to go to the body shop, and will be dropping it off there on 5/12/2014.

I spoke with the guy about getting some extra paint work done, and I'm probably going to have the hood and front fenders chemically stripped and repainted, and then extend the blending across the doors, so the front of my car should be relatively new looking!

Going to try to get the windshield done sometime prior to the body-shop drop off.

Absolutely. My GF walks by the shop everyday on her way to work so I'm hoping to get daily pics during the work.

Haha yeah major elective cosmetic surgery coming soon. Just finalized the pricing for having the hood and front fenders repainted at the same time. Will also be getting a GT motoring front tow hook and have it painted in RYP (just because I couldn't resist the temptation).
