I'm dealing with something similar right now and yes it is a ****ing hassle.

However I dont really feel bad for anyone who puts these parts on and then gets hassled. We all know that we run the risk of getting hassled, but we install the mods anyways. If getting hassled were such a big deal maybe you shouldnt have installed those mods knowing full well that one day you might wind up having to pull them off to pass inspection.

That's life.

this is nothing new. cops have been like this and yes it sucks. but what are you gonna do? I've gotten a lot of these fix-it tickets and in the end I spend a whole sh*^ load of money either in court or in fines. it isn't worth it but modifying a car has always been a hobby for me and that makes it worth it.

I just hope you don't spend a lot of money minh.

Sorry to hear. Was wondering if anyone has gotten a ticket for the Comptech or Vortech SC even though they are CARB legal also. I would hate the hassle of getting the ticket fixed if they don't even care if it's CARB legal.

The same exact thing happened to my friend with a RSX type S a couple days ago, they caught the cold air intake but not the header/test pipe. So he had to remove everything to get it reffed.

This sucks.

Is there a minimum period between refs? i.e. If you get pulled over again, can they not give you a ticket within XX months?

Sorry about your bad luck,
Bassem

That sucks Minh. Makes me think twice about driving around with my single exhaust now.
