amen to that Vu.......was aware of that, as well as the potential spin outs that have been discussed in the tire forum............
went with the yok's for a couple of reasons.....they were darn cheap, and as a daily driver, sticky tires aren't a "must-have" Besides, after the yok's wear down, i'll most likely be getting some new rims anyways.....
see ya on tech-day
Oh yeah, got 'em from tirerack.com............prices are listed on their site.......

I just put some on about 500 miles ago. They are good for the price. They are not as grippy as the S02's and actually feel a little mushy when you first get them on the car. They are also VERY slippery when you first get them on the car. I am just now starting to feel more confident cornering with them. When taking corners, you can tell there is much more sidewall flex. You can adapt to it after driving them for a while. One thing I can say about commuting with them is that they are much quieter than the S02's. I drive from Tracy to Palo Alto every day (150miles round trip). I picked mine up at Americas Tire Co. in Tracy for $501.49 out the door with 3 free rotations (taking tire off and re-mounting) and lifetime (tire life) road hazard.

Sorry, I was unclear in my statement. They take the tire off of the wheel and re-mount it on the opposing wheel. Left to Right and vice-versa. So if you happen to have inner tire wear, the inner tire now becomes the outer tire.
