save the money. you dont want to risk the chance of it getting keyed again. that's just more money and hassle. wait for awhile until you either a) get a beater to drive to school OR b) get out of that school. I'd cash it out and get somthing else, like a hardtop or what not. i doubt insurance will claim your keymarks as fraud. normally people won't key their own brand new s2k for money. haha.

will do rey, thanks. i'm still kinda getting overwhelmed with the basics courses. i just started my cliniclas this sem and i'm looking forward to my hospital experience in feb. i'll pm you when i get confused

Just keep this in mind... you're above all of that petty stuff. When you finish your schooling and become a successful nurse (like Rey!), you can laugh in the face of haters.
