I just got caught doing 80mph near hwy85 on hwy280. The CHP didn't use his radar to track my speed. I know because my V1 didn't scream.

When he presented the ticket to me, I asked him, so I was doing 80mph huh? He said, well, I am sure you were going faster than that, cuz I was doing 80, and you were pulling away.

So based on that, what are the chances I will get off on this if I choose to contest it? I had another ticket in the past 18 months, so going to traffic school won't be an option.

so were you doing >80mph? it's gonna be difficult to argue to the judge that the popo was in the wrong if the facts supports his words.

there's been a ton of cops out on the 85 for the past couple of weeks. most of them are on bikes. for awhile they were patrolling for carpool violators and then started to move onto speeding. watch out for the 85/280 area. they're beefing it up over there for some reason.

i feel u on this...it sucks how cops can just give you tickets anytime they feel like it...

just show up to court...most of the time the cop that gave you the ticket doesnt show up...then i think the judge just writes it off...

ask for a short community service thing from the judge...it might help...

yeah +1 to watch out for 85 near winchester exit, pretty much everytime i go onto 85 towards 280 i see nothing but cops pulling people over. so yeah warning to you guys if you drive there during the afternoons.
