Well it will make good population control I foresee a very interesting edition of the Darwin Awards the first year this goes public. They could be cool though, however they seem as if they would be way too distracting to inner dialogue for me to wear them I imagine. Augmented reality just seems kinda scary to me to be honest.

Either way to science/technology.

If you find yourself predisposition to dying from these glasses -- you should probably stay away from the following:

- Driving, in general.
- Using a phone while doing anything but laying down.
- Talking while walking.
- Crosswalks
- Following directions from humans or computers.

There's tons of people who I think should stay away from those things as it is, which is why I think any of those things with augmented reality on top of it will lead to some rather erm, interesting deaths. Soccer moms getting e-mail popups from the office, with layered vision, while driving around her 3 kids just doesn't sound like the greatest recipe.

Heads Up Display (HUD) for track overlay data & whatever else info you want under the sun! Total distraction & probably going to eff up your vision if you use it super duper long term but none the less uber cool. In for this once vendors start integrating these into cooler or more practical frames & lenses.

For some reason this reminds me of Splinter Cell

Google, eliminating the need for a short term memory one step at a time!

I predict that by 2022 we won't remember how to get home at the end of the day without google assistance. :-p
