as if people being glued to their phones isn't bad now.

VERY cool technology no doubt, but I can see it being a major distraction to people who struggle with multi-tasking. Not to mention the prototype pictures of the glasses are kinda meh. Reminds me of people who walk around wearing BT headpieces in their ear like it's a cool fashion statement. It just looks weird wearing this eye piece that makes you look like you're part of the star trek crew or something.

Oh I def wouldn't wear these in public but I like it from a proof of concept point of view. I'm hoping they either have some demos to show at Google I/O this year or *gasp*, they give them out at Google I/O.

Imagine how much data is being used just for the whole day ? If Google was smart they would not give an unlimited data plan option.

They likely communicate to your phone via bluetooth, so you'd be using your cellular data.
