Default Goodbye to my s2k

Hi guys,

I don't post much on the forums as I always have been a lurker. The story behind the car...when I graduated from college and got a job..I picked up a used 04 GPW S2000 as I always had wanted an NSX but due to practicalities I ended up with the s2000. When I was looking for it back in 2007, I was dead set on getting a GPW only. The first year I had it I racked up a lot of miles in a year (35k miles) and ended up picking a beater. Then for the past two years I would drive it every now and then so it practically sat for awhile. I only did a few mods to the car such as swift springs, system, hard top, and the painted rims.

Due to future planning, it looks like I will be getting rid of my car for an 02 IS300 plus cash...I'll end up picking the IS300 up late next week so I have been getting the most out of the s2000 as of late . I hate to see it go but at this point in time it doesn't make sense for me to keep holding on to it as I hardly drive it anymore anyways I'll keep lurking here as this is one of the most active communities/forums I have encountered... Maybe one day I can get myself situated into another one.

Without further ado, here are some pics of her...

And a pic of the is300 I will be getting...minus the 19" volks..

See ya around!

The IS is a good car, sometimes I wish I had bought one instead of my Accord V6 for my daily driver.

Don't do it man. You're gonna miss it. What's wrong with the integra for a beater?

The integra is cool and all but I'm looking for a better looking beater..in this case the IS300. The money I'll get for the difference of the car would be a nice down payment towards a new car if and when I choose to get it . I am just thinking realistically that I can't keep the s2k forever. It was fun while I had it and I'll know I'll miss it but yea...

But if i really missed it, I can always go down the street and drive yours right Will? haha
