Was wondering if anyone could recommend a good tint shop in the Bay Area? Thanks!

I've taken my previous 6 cars and have referred many people to California Glass Tinting Company in San Jose. Excellent, fast, friendly work. Usually they'll have the car done while you wait! Lifetime warranty on the tint.

If you're near San Leandro, call California Sunscreen at 800 400-tint. They're so good that they do most dealerships from San Leandro to Concord and everything in between. Ask for Sid or Tom.

"Discovery Tint" in Concord just tinted my S2000. (search for their # in yahoo yellow pages.) They did my 2 previous cars as well. Great quality work and a really nice guy. He only charged me $80 for my S...and that's with the rear window of course. (I have an 02') Lifetime warranty etc... I highly recommend them.

you can try mr. tint on steven's creek. i haven't heard anything bad about them, and i had my EG6 tinted there. the quality of the tint is top notch, but the price is also up there as well.

I've had two cars done at...

California Auto Tinting & Polish
130 E Sunnyoaks Ave
Campbell
408/370-9399

...with very good results. One rear started lifting (bad batch of tint) but they retinted it free-of-charge. The other car's tint is still great.

One thing that I was skeptical about at first was that they actually remove the windows & bake the tint in. "Windows are designed to be removed," is what they told me. I have not had any fit or leaking problems, so I'd use them again. Oh yeah...you'll probably have to leave the car there for the day.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for the suggestions! I gave a call to California Glass Tinting, and the person that picked up the phone sounded real confused, and I don't think even knew what an S2000 was, so I gave up on there... I didn't try calling the people down in Campbell cuz I'm kinda worried about having my windows removed... called up Mr. Tint, and it's gonna cost at least $250 for just the two side and rear window (I had my previous A4 tinted with all 4 windows and rear for less than $200!). And the one in Concord and San Leandro are a bit too far for me. Damn, guess I'm back to square one.

I agree with this recommendation. Sid and Tom have tinted over a dozen of me and my friends' cars. My Accord, Integra, Accord and TL were all done by them and with great LASTING results. And if something doesnt sit right, they will take care of it! I highly recommend California Sunscreen in San Leandro. Be sure to call for appointment though since they are often out doing tinting for several Honda and Acura dealers in the bay area.

I am also looking for a good tint shop. Does anyone know of any on the peninsula? I'm not looking to drive all the way to the east-bay to get my windows tinted. Also, I'm looking for a shop that uses Madico tint (the best in the industry) and offers a lifetime warranty.

Thanks.
