so today i went to a couple dealers and test drove a couple cars. this one was the best i've seen today.

http://sfbay.craigslist.org/pen/ctd/2162785484.html

does this look like a good choice consider the price and the millage?

the condition of the car is fabulous, no scratches anywhere on the car. but it has 2 a tiny cracks on the speedometer. (i wonder how did that happen?)
That car would be at most $14k. Even I got a better deal than that w/ under 50k miles and Extended Warranty, and came w/ OEM front lip. I noticed the front Red "H" Emblem, and the clear side markers which are no original. Yeah I'd offer no more than $14k, take it or leave it. Dealership is okay but private u can way better negotiate. Mileage is okay for that.

For example, I found this for my friend which I think he got for $13.5k w/ everything plus extra CF hood, CF Craftsquare sideview Mirrors, Mugen exaust, Mugen CF air intake etc...too many expensive parts to list. All of that which was an "AWESOME" deal. I think u still want all OEM stock. Anyhow, the owner took excellent care of his car interior/exterior wise. I'm sure there's really good deals. It might take about 2-3months like me to find something worthwhile. Good luck. I'll try to look for some clean AP2 Silverstones w/ low mileage for u.

Oh yeah, looks like private seller. Clean OEM stock. I'd offer $16.5k for this:

XenonKiller99: Hey thanks for the info bro, i really appreciate it! i called the private seller and he was not willing to budget a bit. so i gotta pass on that one unfortunately.
i'm open to all colors except yellow. =] i don't mind mods as longs as no major ones like turbo or superchargers. (they probably cost way higher also).

thanks again =]

by the way! that is a INCREDIBLE deal for the white s2k! lucky guy!!!!

This is what I would do...call the person to inspect/test drive the car. After tell them that you really like the car and ask him/her what is the lowest best offer since you seriously want it. They'll be like ummm....then just throw an offer 16.5 when they want 20 then say how about 17 when they say 18 then say alright I'll I have 17.8 my finall price. 17.8 is highly reasonable if it's all cash. Good luck.

well another reason i didn't want this car is because this is a Missouri car which just shipped to CA. I've heard some shady stories when people wreck their cars and register somewhere else, and some states don't even have salvage title. and the guy was not even the owner of the car, he was selling it for his friend.

If you're spending around 17k, I would wait for a 2006+ model. It comes with VSA and the ECU can be flash with Hondata flashpro. They are well worth the upgrade in year > miles to a certain extend.

Not sure if you only want AP2's, but a new one popped up:
