definitely priced about 1.5-3k higher than it should be. plenty of find outs there you just need to be quick to find them, search daily! and if you're not doing it already try expanding your search to socal or even neighboring states. glws.

1.5-3k?

The price of an 04 w/ only 60k on it is a tad bit north of 11.5k my friend. I'll give you a grand at most, this is a business after all.

To the OP that's a fairly priced vehicle, you may have ~$500 of wiggle room. And to be quite honest that's fair. No idea on the condition it's in.

That BMW dealership always have an s2k or two every month. They had 2 when I was looking for mine. They let me test drive it and wanted to sell me an 01 with 55k miles yellow, shabby top and fogged rear plastic window, faded paint on both front and rear bumpers, oxided headlights, and here's the best part 2 bent wheels and 1 had a
Missing chunk.

All this for the cheap cheap price of 14,500 without all the fees. Their only hand was the low mileage for the year.

They perfectly hid the damages in the pictures. Because I found it again on cl and looked at the pictures again and none of the damages were there. They even had pictures of both sides of the car and no bet wheels.

that would be 12k-13.5k as the price was quoted a few bucks under 15k. i understand as a business it'll be marked up a bunch. I'm sure you could get away with an offer within that range minus taxes and fees. I would look privately as there was an nfr 06 with under 50k that went for about 16k not too long ago. Make sure you get a compression test done atleast before purchase.

Ha yeah that one. He put everything back so stock as far as I know. Good luck with the search. Hope you find the right one. Make sure you get your color of choice or you may regret it.

July 09 I paid 15.7K for an 04 with 61K. Front bumper had a nick, and I replaced it for $250. Otherwise just regular wear.

I suspect many people here will tell you 'you can find it much cheaper' but I'd be interested to know what kind of deal they got on their cars. Some locals have bought cars and to get nice ones it's not 'give away'. Local honda dealer says they haven't had a nice one on their lot in 2-3 months. If they do get one, it's gone in a week, or two tops.

If they're disappearing so fast, this means demand exceeds supply which means the prices aren't ultra low. All these comments on pricing seem to conflict with each other.

You should check out this thread. https://www.s2ki.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=743204

I bought my 06 same time last year for $17,750 OTD with 40k from a BMW dealership. The bottom of the bumper was scraped but that's it. It also came with alpine deck.

One thing if you're buying from a dealership; always go through the internet manager. I don't ever mess with regular salemen. It will save you the headache.
