$29,800 (price includes destination fee) plus tax and license ? Or should i continue shopping around trying to get a better price? Also what's the license fee?

That is a good price.

Someone will always tell you that you can do better.

How much better? Probably not too much:

That quote gives the deelor at least $460 dollars of profit.

Seek out the deelor who moves the most Honda

That isn't a bad price for the San Jose area... You should talk to Blair Morrow over on the Sacramento board though and see what he can do for you. I bought my '05 from him a couple months ago.

I think I'll cry when I see someone post a better deal than what I got!

That's a very reasonable price, but you can probably do better. I bought my 05 at Honda of Oakland for $29,510, including destination but pre-tax/license, in late February.

I walked away when they said the lowest they were willing to go was $29,710 - they called me back the next morning.

In the end, how much is the couple hundred going to mean to you? I regretted walking away for $200, until they called me back.

Thanks for the responses, the dealership is now offering the s2k for $29,500. The only thing now is to decide between a new a4 or s2k?

Boy you guys are lucky. You would never see those prices in Hawaii. Sticker prices as of last week are $37,000 +tax and license. With a hardtop its still $39,999 +tax and license. So IMO anything under $35k is good enough. I paid $33,800 out the door 4 years ago. That was a steal back then and in Hawaii. I paid cash so thats why it was way under the prices I quoted above.
