Not that the ass-pounding in the state pen would be any different, but even when something is a felony (which >100mph is not) it does not mean Federal prison; it depends on the kind of crime (kidnapping, terrorism etc are Federal jurisdiction).

I think it was just a reference to office space.
Plus, I realize, if im ever gonna do it, now is the time. I'm about to go to college, where I won't need a car (or insurance) so, should i get caught, the first four years of points won't hurt me . Gotta look at the brightside...

re: felony.
really? wow, sh*t was I misinformed. I really thought it was something like that was called "felony reckless driving". my bad.
well best of luck man. don't kill anybody, incl yourself. that said, it is pretty neat the first time you go that fast (130+ was enough for me, one time). but you soon realize it isn't worth the tremendous risks being taken.

Sometimes I think it's so strange that all vehicles have the same speed regulations and penalties. When driving rationally, with all senses alert and good visibility all around, I think S2000 drivers barely get an elevated pulse at 100 MPH. The car is just so utterly stable and controllable.
Then on the news you hear about some police pursuit "at times approaching NINETY MILES AN HOUR!!!!!" (Like that's not the speed people pass me commuting to work in the morning in minivans and Tahoes.) (Not being chased by the CHP, by the way.)

505 is great....some stretches are smoother than others....
something closer you can also try is the 580 in Richmond
http://maps.yahoo.com/maps_result?ed=M7tNO...ew=1&name=&qty=
the freeway is nicely paved. not super straight, but i've done 130/140 there before. this is not a remote area, so you'll have to go during times where there's no traffic.
just let us know when you'l be doing it....so we won't be on the road

As for the guy asking if i've done it yet, no, I've been busy, haven't found the time. And I'm definetly not saying when I'm going to do it, just cuz advertising the tiime and place of illegal activity isnt smart
