Default Good place to top her out...

I've been looking for a good place to peg 150, but I haven't found a great spot, you guys have any ideas? I have friends who would be willing to watch for cops at an on-ramp or two.

take 880 to Fremont. Exit Mowry Blvd or Fremont Blvd, and peg 150 there all day!

The 505 freeway is a great place to stretch your legs. Perfectly straight for 30 miles and very few onramps for cops to hide on. I hit 150 in my S there.

I280 from Palo Alto to SF, I don't know about 150 but I was being passed by Porsche Turbos like I was sitting still - and I had hit the century mark...

I don't think there is any safe way you can hit 150 on 280, 120 max I think. The best bet is 505

Do 150 on Highway 1 and then talk about real driving. =)

Hwy 1 in Marin is one of my favorite driving roads (except when its covered in mini-vans on their way to the beach who don't know what "Slower Traffic Use Pullouts" means ), but, at least on the stretch I drive, you would need a Koenigsegg CCR to get anywhere near 150.

WHile i don't think 280 is a good place to top it out (to many police), you certainly could: I have a friend who took a civic up to 130 going down the steepest incline. (stupid, stupid friend)
