If I was getting a helmet for autocross or something, I would just pick up a cheaper brand though since they protect nearly as good. Its the ventilation and light weight that makes it $$$.

Thanks guys!

I heard about the infinion place but thats a little far... ohh well I guess ill have to make the drive.

I was thinking about getting the Arai GP-Jet/F Helmet, its light and I heard good things about it but it runs about 400 bux

invisibleS2k - What helmet do you have and what size?

brian210 - I go with hooked on driving club, really good guys. You get a lot of track time with them too because usually the run groups are fairly small.
If needed they provide professional coaches to ride along and give you pointers.

You can check em out at www.hookedondriving.com

I went to road rider and tried on their motorcycle helmets for sizing since I have a damn big head. Then I ordered the Pyrotect Pro Airflow SA Series Full Face

Came out to around 220 since I was able to get the price my friend talked him down too! Let me know if you are interested and I will try to find my invoice. I'll be at Laguna Seca with Unlimited Laps on 4/9 hopefully!
