Honda of El Cerrito internet department
i got a no hassle buy and they even let me take black floormats (i didn't want tan floormats cause it'd be too hard to keep them clean)
best bet would be send out emails to all the dealerships within a X mi radius and ask for a price quote.....then choose quote and dealer and purchase

Do your Internet Shopping. . . one of the more pleasant things that (I think) happened to me was that I was looking for Silverstone w/Red/Black. Mistlin Honda in Modesto had one coming in, along with (according to the dealer :cough 7 dealer requests for the car. . . he wanted my cash more than he wanted the dealer-to-dealer price.

Thanks for the prompt responses.
So far only one of the 9 dealers I contacted have quoted me a price.. Best one is,
MSRP + Tax and Lic...@ 37K OTD...
I hate this process of buying a car. It really makes the purchase process less exciting.
I will let you know what I get qouted.

Honda of El Cerrito is "ok". I got mine there.
But for a shameless plug go to San Leandro Honda, ask for Brook. (He is the Sales Manager) Tell him Big Al and Victor sent you.
But you can't really go wrong with internet sales. And email your prices back and forth to other dealerships. Make them do the legwork. Not you.

when i sent out my emails i specifically mentioned that i wanted it for invoice $29999 (well at least for MY04) or as close to it as possible......this will let them know what you are expecting.......some dealers will say "we can't do invoice", others will say i can't do invoice but can do $500 over
and sending out emails should take 10 min, not much hassle or work at all

take ur time. ur gonna save more money. play the "this dealer give me this price" can u beat that price game with them. dont pay over msrp for winter. try to get low as invoice for them new 05. contact them on last day of month or on a holiday. that usually works best.
