This weekend I'm heading up to a ranch north of Vacaville, and while i could make it a nice quick jaunt on the highway, I'd rather take the backroads. So, does anyone have an ideas? I'm going to be leaving from north Marin, Novato area.

I've always wanted to hit up that road, but its hardly even in the right direction...lol, i guess once u hit valley, thats the end of fun roads...well, i just looked at a map and it looks like there are couple roads that head across from where skaggs hits 101, past lake berryessa and meet up with the 505. Anyone driven any of these?

Also, anyone know about the police presence on Skaggs, i still think ive got a month or so before my 18 months are up for traffics school and im not getting a point on my licence (forgoe to comments about the top speed test on the 505 if ya'll remember it...i was VERY cautious...)

 

I used to ride, and lots of bikers go there. They told me the cops don't really care if you are responsible.
