I live across from Stanley Park! Definitely worth the drive through! Up in Vancouver it's all about eating and Chinese food there is better if not the same as it is in Hong Kong! I'd also go pay AJ Racing a visit to see what goodies they have in store. Too bad you're not a VDubber otherwise a drive to Port Coquitlam is in order! Ron's Parts is there! Don't worry about currency. Go to any HSBC bank and bring in your US$, they'll change it for you + a small fee. For better rates, believe it or not but Robson St. currency changers are pretty good. Avoid changing money at the airport when you arrive!!! Oh and don't forget to fill out a GST form when you're leaving! The tax is fully refunded back for non food purchases! Enjoy!

Well just got back from Beautiful British Columbia.
I did end up going to the Richmond night market (bascially its like an Asian flea market at night and serve lots of good appetizers), No 3 road in Richmond, Burnaby, downtown Vancouver, Victoria, and the rose garden. Gotta say...Canadians are far more nicer than Americans.
ONly thing that sucked was there speed limits on highway. It seemed like I was the only one going 65+ on the highway.
Saw some cars I've never seen here in the states:
Mercedes B class
Acura 1.6L (basically a civic with an Acura badge)
Smart Cars
and a few Opel cars.
....also can't believe how popular the HOnda Fit and the Toyota Yaris is over there.
I also realized after driving in the country 15 minutes that all cars require day time running lights. I saw a few S's and all had them...wish I had them on mine.
As for Seattle, it rained a few days I was there but that didn't bother me. I went to the famous original Starbucks and also walked the Pikes Place.
Overall....I had a great time in Seattle and Vancouver. Would def. do it again.
BTW: thanks all for posting "to do's"

Hi, I'm gonna vacation in Vancouver during the week of July 3rd - July 8th. I've been there a bunch of times and did all the touristy stuff, but I was wondering if there would be any nice events say car shows or nice clubs to hit. Thanks for your input.
