Going for a drive on saturday
check it out here
I'm going for a short drive with my roommate (on his bike) and my buddy (miata) this saturday at noon. Going to check out this sierra/felter road, it only looks like it's about 12 miles long. If anyone is interested in tagging along you're more than welcome. If it rains (20% chance) then I'll scrap the whole plan.

If you do happen to get onto Calaveras be very careful because there are a lot of loose gravel. Have fun.

Hey, that road is like my backyard as I live right off Piedmont Rd and drive up at least once a week. I'd tag along, but I am booked on Saturday. Have fun, try to avoid going off the cliff

sounds fun, but i'm busy on saturday as well
on a side note, you should be careful, because i know for a fact police check these forums for these kind of events.. you should keep the route a secret and through pm's
anyways, hope you have fun, stay safe, and out of trouble!

Also, many twisties have sand on them that Caltrans put on it a while ago to prevent ice from forming. Most roads aren't in good condition until after the rain.
