pretty sad that the damn trees almost lost to the last placed team in the nation! and don't say you didnt almost lose... that game wasn't determined until the last 30 seconds! oh and damn, Stanford's band sucks... an embarassment to everyone there... and on another note... GO BEARS!!!

Very good game. It was a LOT closer than what I had expected. I had planned to catch only a portion of the game but found myself watching till the end. Has it been seven straight BG victories for Stanford?!? Damn. The Bears had a chance with Boller back at the helm. Oh well; atleast the Cal basketball team is out to a 2-0 start!

The original spread on the game was Stanfurd by 24 points? So since the Bears only lost by a touchdown...it wasnt too bad. Too bad I was at the S2000 event all afternoon and then went for a drive with a few S2000's and missed an exciting game.

Despite the dismal season and 7 straight BG losses to the tree, I bleed Blue and Gold. Go Bears!
and oh yeah, spelling of the home of the tree has been corrected

DBW,

Per our conversation, I thought Standfurd grad students didn't really care too much about the result????

Anyways, we've all seen a lot of surprise results at the Big Game, and some great finishes. Regardless of the spread or the league standings, the Big Game is always fun [especially the tailgates] and there is always next year. Remember, what goes up must eventually come down [like Stanfurd's last 7 wins...], and now we have basketball to look forward too.

GO BEARS!

I didn't know there are so many Cal Alum's here!!! I left the S2000 Event early on Saturday so I can go home and watch The Big Game. Had I known that there were so many Cal Alumi at the S2000 Event, I would have said something.

Wait until next year. The PLAY will always be remembered!!

at least we gave the tree a fight and weren't shut out. I feel sorry for those UCLA folks though...
looks like the University of Spoiled Children out did them...
