glass soft top vs hardtop
I've got a 00 s2k, and ready to ditch the plastic window.
Now I can't decide between getting a glass soft top or a used hardtop. I would spend about $1000 for new frames and softop, or around $2000 for a used hardtop. It IS a $1000 difference... so it's a pretty big dent difference for my wallet.
What do you guys think? thanks

i'm in the same situation, just deciding now if i really want to drop $2000 for a hardtop or save it

You don't need a new frame, you can just modify your existing frame.
Of course it really depends on how much top down driving you do. For me, a hardtop is useless, hense why I sold mine.
