I never used Chevron before but I gave it a try after reading Road Rage's post. I have an EGT in my 3000GT VR4 and the exhaust temp is running 1500 degrees cooler with Chevron gas.

Why isn't ARCO gas on the list?? It's the best!!! lol

I've only use either Shell or Chevron. They seem very similair. Proformance feel and mileage. I do notice the car feels stronger from different station locations. Maybe it's all in the mind.

actually there can be something here....if a station does not keep it's tanks well maintained then they can deteriorate contaminating the gas(and ground waters, etc...) causing potential performance issues....

do you ever notice,how if you put the same dollar amount in your tank(lets say $20) that you get different fill up read outs on your dash depending which station you go to?Yes,factoring in pump price and level of the car.

I use Chevron, Shell or 76 all 91 octane. I don't really feel a difference get about 300 miles with minimal vtec'ing
