I get about 20mpg but it's 90% freeway with lots and lots of VTEC.
Btw, Minako, were you trying to sell your Insight? I saw an ad on CL that showed a pic of the Insight getting 72mpg.

minako- i didnt like the body style of the prius, i did however like how it ran... it was quick and it had really good brakes despite it only running on a two wheel disc system as opposed to a four wheel disc system. i love how everything is digital inside too.. i just dont like the shape and most of all i have hook ups in honda... not toyota 
ItsBen- i go to school in San Rafael. doing nursing. i'm coming from the fairfield/suisun area. thats 45 miles one way. a round trip would be 90 miles.
dmz- oh believe me... i have lots of love for my vtec... ironically enough, i was driving with RgistRdShwoffIX down highway 17 and i was keeping my revs at 5-6k. during the straightaways i didnt shift to get the torque i needed to engine brake for the corner. LOTS of love for vtec. of course on my way home i was averaging like 130kph... i think thats about 80mph... which is decently good... and legal i'm starting to think vtec saves gas...

shotiable - I'm a Honda gal myself, so I totally understand. The Insight just looks cooler to me, too. I don't need all the gadgets. It's a hybrid, for goodness sakes. As long as it has A/C and is MT, I'm happy.
