G1 Google Phone Users?
#21
Well I was planning to wait for the Palm Pre, but I've already spoke with a few Sprint Reps and all have told me that I will need to buy the $99.99 everything plan.
This will not get my business. Just like the Samsung Instinct. I was planning on buying this phone and they [Sprint] said I can only activate it only if I get the everything plan for $99.99. (I just walked out)
Anyhow, I end up getting the G1 phone today at Best One that CritS2k referred too. Good service, free activation, some freebies, and I get 18% discount w/ my company. I did get the phone for $79.99 as quoted. Just want to say thanks. So far I'm happy w/ the phone.

I can record video.
Videocall would be nice in japan where everyone has it.
Changeable memory cards, sell a product with sufficient memory and there is no need to mess with swapping cards or the chance of loosing the tiny bastards. Plus the additional cost.
Absolutely nothing compares to the touchscreen or browser of the iPhone and once adobe and apple work out flash it'll be game over.
It would be great for palm to come out with something nice but they screwed themselves years ago and it'll take more than one good phone for them to have anything in the cell industry.
G1 might be nice but it's still HTC and they are lacking a quality touch screen.
As far as business users, blackerry is on top but for someone who doesn't need secure email the iPhone wins hands down. There is no better all around experience.
