Default Fuel Gauge Dim

2006 S2K 59,000 miles
Fuel gauge is dimmer than the rest of the cluster. It's weird because i bought the car with only 28,000 miles and since day one I've always kept the cluster on the dimmest setting. I figured it would lengthen the life of it all but i guess not...
Any ideas? I really don't want to have to go to Honda and pay hundreds for them to change a bulb or something.

Probably the bulb, happened to my SS at around 105K. The whole left side is dim & I know it's time to replace the bulb. Just too lazy to get it out of the dash. You could try to jostle the cluster/dash to see if its just a loose connection.

Here is a link to Qube Engineerings LED Cluster Guide. I would rate it at least a 6/10 in difficultly.

It shouldn't be that hard to replace a bulb. Just take the cluster out. Look for DIY here on the forum.

Yeah. I found it. I'm gonna give it a shot. doesn't look too bad. I would just hate to break a plastic piece like the cluster shroud or something but I'll be extra careful.

ok so i'm gonna dive right in today, unfortunately i don't know the part numbers for the bulbs (i'm just gonna replace them all) and the S2K is my only available car right now. That means I have to tear it down check the bulbs, put it back together drive to parts shops hoping they have the bulbs and then drive home just to have to tear it down and put it back together again. I've been looking for the parts numbers online with no luck...CAN ANYBODY HELP???
