Default A fuel cut off switch wired into an s2k?

I owned a DC2 and I wired in a fuel cut off switch.. (simple little switch that you can hide in a inconspicuous place like under the car seat or under the dash by your right leg.. ) and believe it or not it can save your ass..

is this possible on an s2k? if so.. any one know how?

Just thought it would be a great idea for repelling car theft on a budget

you can tap into the fuse box for the fuel pump and hide the switch somewhere like the secret compartment.

There are many ways to tackle this - I used to do this for clients back when I worked a stereo shop in Indiana

If you tap the fuse box it's a dead give-away as trained thieves will look there first for problems.

My suggestions is to break the connection at the fuel pump source using a relay. You can choose either the power or ground. Hide the harness using oem electrical tape and have it hidden with a switch in a location not within normal reach. Our fuel pump is in the rear of the car so I have tons of ideas on this but won't post here.

Another idea is to just get a battery disconnect switch similiar to what race cars use. This will kill power to the whole car and as an added bonus your battery won't die if you want to store the car for long periods. Only downfall to this is all your car electronics will reset each time.

I won't say what methods I have employed in my cars but there are countless options out there if you are intent to make it hard on the thief.

My buddy's car got stolen on a flatbed though so none of the methods will stop them if they REALLY WANT YOUR CAR.

Behind your driver seat, take out the cover, cut the fuel pump positive wire, put a good switch between.
