Not really the same. Gruppe-S is/was just a part slinger. A dime a dozen. Comptech on the other hand...

they were heading downhill for awhile now. it was up FS since last summer. Word is...they had TAX issues(can you say audit) last year. it started when Mackin Industries, Inc. (Mackin Industries, established in 1972, is a global distribution center for quality performance products) got audited. when that happen all of their dealers got audited too. gruppe-S's own Helix brand had other issues that i cant say.

actually vincent... Gruppe-S and Mackin don't get along. Gruppe-S grey marketed Volks. My own warehouses dropped them because their accounting structure was terrible and never on time. Any more details I won't list out, I'm sure you already knew.

Comptech did sell.. are still selling their equipment through private contacts. If you need things for your nsx or tuning, the developer of the fuel maps and software has opened up his own shop (... ie he's still around) helping out the prior customers. Hope is not lost.
