My original soft top is coming off sometime this week to be replaced with a new soft top, so the original one is going to be up for sale. The reason for this swap is because someone decided to add their own custom touch to it by spray painting some white on it. Insurance paid for a new top, but I was able to remove all of the spray paint off it. Otherwise, the top is in great shape. The car has always been garage keep. Its been cared for with 303 protectant every month. My insurance company was only going to give me 70% of the replacement cost due to usual wear, but I was able to get 85% because my insurance adjustor said the top was in excellent condition. Some of you guys saw the top after I had cleaned it up during the last Oyster run and no one could really tell where it had been spray painted. This is a cheap way for someone looking to upgrade to the glass window. Hardtopguy sells a new one for $900, so if you are interested, make a resonable offer.

Local buyer preferred, but I do have the Honda box that my replacement soft top came in, so I can ship this. Buyer pays actually shipping cost.

BTW, this does not include the frame, just the fabric top.

 

can i get pics of it? how is the area that got spray paitn on it? and also would u be willing to help me put this on =D for a cpl extra bucks of course. let me know thx

The area were it was spray painted looks just like the rest of the top, great. I'll post pics once I've got the top off.
