I've been driving manual since I was 16 also, and it always feels foreign every time I get into an automatic car. I think in a manual car you have more control over shifting, accelerating, etc... and I definitely enjoy that

On a side note.... I have driven a 545i, which has paddle shifters. It's weird to shift but not have to depress a clutch, lol!

obviously you still don't understand the point of this post, i won't argue with someone who cannot understand a redutio argument or see the assumption underneath a statement. but again, i restated my view in a very straight forward form , unfortunately you still have problems interpreting it. it's almost as difficult as explaining "1+1=2 " to a fool, yet a fool might even understand it.

it's a waste of time to argue with you further since your words reflect you have a great amount of difficulties in interpretation.
Troll is well fed.

why don't you stop acting like an elitest poster and try to make clear, coherent posts

reading your first post, even after the edit, it's not clear what you're trying to say

what do you mean you cant park or maneuver the car?

I think in England the law requires all who apply for a driver's license must learn and take the test in a standard car.

So if you can drive a stick, you can drive an auto. that's how it should be. But i took my test with an auto because i didnt know how to properly drive stick yet

^ at least the car was not in motion yet

I stepped on the parking brake (where the clutch is in the S) while the SUV was moving , luckily I wasn't going that fast.
