Whoa whoa whoa, front plate costs $85? Or is it cheaper if you get it signed off?

The Ricks front plate holder might (might) cover those dimples, and it looks alot better than the OEM bracket.

Awww sorry for the false info. It was just a guess. I guess I should check out my own car. Lol.

I'll see how far it goes. I'll probably put back the plate if the dimples annoy me.

ive had my ap1 for roughly a year now running a front plate to test the waters with my daily driving

routes. Last week i ordered bumper plugs from autowest in fremont for like $18 and now running with front

plate. I love the look in the front obviously and also drive a little more paranoid hehe. I also want to

point out that since taking the plate off, ive been counting how many other makes and models run with no

front plate. I used to do it a long time ago but i've noticed that the cars that i see on a regular basis

with no front plates are:

1. Vettes
2. Benzes
3. Porsches
4. Solstices
5. s2000's

i got popped in 09 for no front plate while on the bay bridge toll plaza in oakland. then i got popped by a meter maid in downtown sf to the tune of 105$.. im not even sure if there was a fix-it option. i've been meaning to look around in the ca code to find out whether meter maids are actually authorized to enforce front plate tickets. i got a tow hook bracket finally for my last car because i was tired of worrying about it. now that i picked up the s, though, i haven't spent time putting the front plate on yet.

thumbs down, front plate. big thumbs down, front plate ticket. huge thumbs down, meter maids.

any good brackets for the s? something i've been meaning to research..

i have mine double faced taped below the drivers side headlamp. did it once and its been there for 6 yrs. got the idea from a guy i met at a meet up in sac. he said he had just got a ticket for not having it on. also my step nephew, who is a chip, told me if he pulled me over he would definitely issue the ticket. he called it "an easy one". i have been pulled to the side for other things but why give them a reason too.
