Just don't park in Palo Alto or SF and you should be fine! There is also some crazy CA-wide petition giong around about the front plate law. You should google it and sign it. That way you'll have more junk email to go with your "fix-it" tickets! ;-)

I have Rick's front plate bracket... If you are gonna have one, get one of those. I spoke with an officer once about this topic... He said that without a front plate they have "reasonable cause" to pull you over for anything, anytime, anywhere. Think about that before driving home from the bar!

Like a police officer "actually" needs probably cause. They can claim anything prior to pulling you over ;-) You have a good point though for those owners who don't walk around with a Sharper Image digi breathalizer. Uhhhh, wait, does ANYONE walk around with one of those?

I've never gotten a ticket in SF although I go there a lot. My brother borrows it occassionaly, and he gets a ticketin SF. Go figure.
I put the plate on the air grill with plastic tie wraps, look much better than the stock mounting. I don't know about air cooling although the heat never goes above 3 bars. Want to see a pic of it?
