While Krung Thai is right down the street from my house, it's right down the street from my house. . . which means it's BFE distance from my work on a Friday evening (while Boba is right down 237 from work).

It's like ... people pronounce "Wang" with a long "a" sound (like "way").
But it really sounds like "Wong" (like the "o" in "top")
So even though it's spelled Hung, it sounds like Hong. ^^
