Com Tam Dat Thanh is good, but I don't know about really good. Com Tam to me is the same at most places. There's only so many different kinds of meat and stuff that you can pair with the broken rice to make the dish. I went awhile ago and wasn't that blown away by it.
Haven't tried Nam Vang yet, but I favor Hu Tieu in general over Com dia.
Los Altos Taqueria in Mt. View has pretty good Tacos.
Tlaquepaque is a good mexican food place. They have one off Curtner and 2 or so in Willow Glen.

What's parking like?
Tlaquepaque can also get crowded as well. I'd suggest the one on Curtner. The parking lot there is a lot bigger, but the larger restaurants are in Willow Glen. There's neighborhood parking around the restaurant at the Willow Glen locations.

Mt View has a couple big parking structures and lots all around that place that are empty at night.
