Ok so here are some pics from yesterday. She was GREAT to work with.

I have more pics, but I'll post those later...
Can I give you some advice? A softbox or a bit of photoshop will take care of the glare on her face. I have better luck putting a sheet up behind the model unless you are using a really fast lens, otherwise the backgrounds are too much in focus and distracting. With a small frame digital camera, your depth of field is naturally greater than in the equivalent 35mm. It's really important to shoot with the lens wide open, so you minimize the background (the loss in sharpness is usually flattering to most models)

Lighting can really maximize or minimize the curves you want to accentuate. don't be afraid to try some interesting stuff, with remote actuated slave flashes ($20 at a camera store), etc.

Nice pics, though!

Thanks! It's my first time shooting a model. Like I said in my first post, I normally just shoot scenery. Figured it was time for a change.

And a reminder...if any of you know of friends that are interested in modeling, please let me know.

Yeah I'm ready to shoot on the weekends. I'm in Fremont. I can go anywhere in the bay area (sf, peninsula, sj, east bay).
