ground zero, where do you ride?
I usually ride with the penvelo boys sundays (saturdays if I can make it). If you are interested in trying a different route, this weekend should have a pretty big group as it is a Holiday.

mostly marin. meet sundays 8am at the gg bridge. either PARADISE, CHINA CAMP, LUCAS VALLEY, or ALPINE/MT TAM.

the roads where you are are definitely better (smoother and less traffic)
you are welcome to join us though. some of my friends Stan (litespeed) and Eric ride with the PenVelo group sometimes as well .

weekdays I do the headlands a handful of times to get some climbing in.

hey ground, i heard going single gear is cheaper then fixed. Being that you only have to change out the rear hub to a single gear, is that correct?

im not too sure about all that stuff... i'm a geared roadie myself.

My boy has been riding fixies for a while know he knows a lot. They guys at montano velo on piedmont avenue near fentons icecream are pretty chill. Check them out, i ride a roady so im not to familiar with all the fixie converting
